Our story begins high above the tree-line where lichen paints the granite with streaks of red, and marmot droppings are the only sign that any other living thing survives all the way up here.
In a little nook sheltered from the wind my buddy and I are chomping turkey jerky, sipping our precious water and talking about the final ascent to the summit of Matterhorn; a class 4 scramble up the southern slope to a craggy point 12,288 feet above sea level.
In that rare air, in that little nook, an idea was born. The idea was a brand that celebrates the glory of the high country and pays homage to all the people who love to get vertical in wild places.
A few years and many arduous miles of rugged terrain later Craggy Crew has launched as an independent upstart clothing brand with the aim of creating unique clothing that represents the uniqueness of the climbing community.
We are honored to have you on board; reading this post, perusing our online store and becoming early ambassadors of our little upstart brand. We design our clothes for people like you, who love the mountains and the craggy places and who have the passion to climb to new heights.
